HOWL CHOIR

Informal, drop-in choir for grown ups. You sing, kids play

What howl choir says

We are an informal, drop-in, daytime choir for grown ups where your pre-school little howlers are very welcome.

No need to audition.
No need to read music.
No previous experience needed.
Just a chance to belt out some top tunes.

Learn a three-part harmony in just an hour - I know right! We sing everything from Bowie to Beyonce! Something for you, but the kids love it too! Toys and snacks provided (parental supervision required!). Stay for a cuppa and a chat after too.

Friday mornings (term-time only) at the Central United Reformed Church hall, Blatchington Road, Hove. Doors open at 10.15am for singing at 10.30am - 11.30am.
No expensive term fees to pay. Just drop-in for £6 a session or £5 a session if you sign up for the half term or 10 session voucher.

About

Hi! My name is Tamar and I started howl 12 years ago as a direct result of seeing how mental health and self-esteem can be really affected by the relentlessness and loneliness of parenthood. howl is so much more than a choir. It's a space where you can be you! Even if only for an hour! Although your little howlers are so welcome to come with you, you are the focus. It's your choir. You sing, the kids play.

Singing is amazingly beneficial for your mood, your self-esteem and your mental health. And singing together with other wonderful people, is even more rewarding. It makes howl a really amazing way to spend your Friday morning! Three part harmonies all taught by ear, in just an hour, by our amazing choir leader, Clare. Stay for a cuppa and a chat after too.

And as we are a drop-in, there's no need to book or pay for expensive term-time fees. Just drop in when you can.
