We are very excited to be opening our popular baby and toddler swim classes at our new Aqua-Hub warm water aqua sensory pool in Northfields Prospect opposite Wandsworth Park. Introduce your baby to the many benefits of baby swimming and teach them a skill for life with the original baby water safety programme devised by baby swim pioneer and founder of Little Dippers' Lauren Heston. Our aim is to teach babies key water safety techniques in a way that is both fun and nurturing. As one of the first activities you can do with your baby, swimming is a great way to build the bond between you and your baby with special one to one time and skin to skin contact. While the exercises we teach help to strengthen heart, lungs and muscles and develop cognitive skills. Classes last 30 mins and take place at the Aqua-Hub with warm water heated to a balmy 34C, it is also equipped with UV filters to allow for lower chlorine levels which is kinder to skin and eyes. Aqua sensory lighting and small classes with just 4 babies in a class help to create a calmer and nurturing environment for both parent and baby.
