Description

Tap dance involves the use of tap shoes to create loud and intricate beats whilst dancing. If a tap dancer was a musical instrument – they would be a drum! Contemporary modern is an energetic and expressive dance style characterised by its impressive leaps, kicks and turns.
Classes follow the award-winning Melody Bear First and Foundation syllabi. Our Tap & Contemporary Modern classes are high energy and so much fun as we utilise props, themed exercises and cool choreography to develop children’s technique, confidence and performance skills.
Each week children receive a sticker of a movement or theme they have worked on in class and these are collected to earn termly medals rewarding their in-class progress.
