Description
This is a 60 minute class for your older child that uses Yoga and mindfulness techniques to promote Mental Wellbeing. Your child will learn Yoga flows to strengthen their body and learn techniques to manage anxiety, tune in to their emotions and gain confidence. Each session begins with a physical and mental warm-up including breathing exercises. We will then engage the mind by off-loading through philosophy, talking activities, Lego therapy or social activity. We then work on our mind body connection through Yoga flows with modern music or stories. Each session will end with a final relaxation or meditation and a reflection on the session and what they can use from it going forward.
