Baby massage is such a lovely experience. I have been an infant massage instructor for 8 years and a health visitor with over 10 years experience.

The course is 5 weeks long. As well as learning the strokes, We have a theory section and peer to peer support section. There is also opportunity to have your baby weighed which I can plot,

As a health visitor I understand the importance of not overstimulating baby. So we start slow and build up to the whole massage week by in a warm, calm, homely environment. The course is completely baby led, and I encourage you to meet your baby's needs, from feeding, changing or even just holding your baby.

It is a 5 weeks course, so that we have babies wellbeing at the heart of what we do. I understand how babies, especially younger babies can be easily overstimulated so the course is completely designed around this. No music, or flashing lights, or mixing the sessions up with yoga and songs (a few gentle nursery rhymes only). I guide you through and help you recognise if baby is struggling, and have some techniques to support them to enjoy their massage

At the end you will get a certificate.
