Description
Sensory and developmental musical fun for babies under 18 months (non-walkers). Not-for-profit. Using exciting and innovative props, sensory activities, baby signing and music, we take you on an exciting weekly Adventure - Safari, Desert Island, Enchanted Castle, or Australia (and many more!). All our Adventures are designed to help baby to develop essential skills, stimulate the vestibular system, help with gross/fine motor skills, socialisation and parental bonding. Classes all include a "break out" social element where you can share and discuss problems with other like-minded parents, make new friends and babies can play. We also take photos of activities at classes which we share with you so that you have a treasured record of all the wonderful memories you make! As part of your class fee, you can access our private Facebook Community and our Panel of Experts (who can offer advice on parenting issues - sleep, nutrition and well-being for example); and access our Private Members' Area - log on using a password - which contains additional parenting tips, a free weekly video of your class and our weekly baby signs. We also provide you with a weekly Home Activity (something that is easy to make or do with baby using (usually) household items). Access to the free weekly video means you never miss out on a session, if for any reason you can't make your face-to face class. Weekly 'Milestone Certificates' are awarded for significant events - helping you to keep a record of these - and we have Baby Graduations when you are moving on. All props are provided.
Large Car Park available above the venue where you can park free for up to 2 hours. To access the Community Room, enter Arc Leisure Centre, then Community Room is to left of Reception.

Twistin Tinies Adventures classes are aimed at parents and carers with children aged 0 – 18months (non-walkers). Our current classes are an hour long and consist of 45 minutes of sensory and developmental fun to music; followed by a 15 minute social session, where you can discuss problems, get questioned answered and meet other parents while babies play at our Natural Exploration Area. Each class is a magical Adventure transporting you to a different place each week (e.g. Under the Ocean, into Space, to the Jungle, to an Enchanted Castle). Our baby music classes are designed to stimulate baby’s innate abilities, using light shows and props such as wind chimes, drums and shakers, and include activities that develop key skills – Hand-to-eye Co-ordination, Listening Skills, Visual Tracking, Vestibular System, Baby Bonding and Sensory stimulation. All activities are designed to assist with baby’s speech, language and communication development. Our Natural Exploration Area provides extra sensory stimulation for babies and allows parents and carers to have a chat, share experiences and make new friends. Each week, you also receive a weekly “Home Activity ” - ideas of things to do at home to further enhance your baby’s development, as well as a weekly video of a class (so if you suddenly can't attend you don't miss out!). You will also be invited to join our private Twistin Tinies Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/232915081220877) where you can discuss issues with other parents, ask questions and get advice from our Panel of Experts.
