What Sing To Shine says

Hi, I'm Esme and the creator of Sing To Shine, an exciting new interactive music group for children aged 0-5.

It will be held every Friday, all year round, at St Eydiths Church BS9 2HU - 1pm for 0-2 and 2pm for 2+. There is a small onsite car park or when full there is street parking, all of which is free. The church hall is a beautiful large space, with a little garden too. It is fully accessible.

The groups are limited on numbers which is due to the very interactive nature of it. It will support communication and language skills, introducing taking turns in a fun way and will help raise children's self confidence, giving each and every child the opportunity to Shine ⭐️ You are encouraged to book in blocks of 5 or 10 to avoid disappointment! Pay as you go is OK too but may not always be available if its been booked via blocks.

Each session will involve -

🎶 our hello song
🎶 a selection of well known children's songs and nursery rhymes
🎶 a large collection of musical instruments for parent and children to use
🎶 some beautiful sensory props
🎶 a selection of songs that use props and are tailored to each child
🎶 We'll finish with a bubble disco with some absolute classics for us all to sing amd dance along to!

I wont be using a backing track as I feel this makes us all sing too fast. My emphasis will be on helping children to hear words, communication and language through the joy of community singing. But don't worry, the disco at the end will be actual music!!

I'm holding taster sessions in December for the introductory price of £5 per child with siblings £1 extra. In January the full price will be £7.50 per child. Parents, carers, grandparents, aunties, uncles, childminders, nannies and anyone else who cares for a child are welcome
