Pre natal Reformer classes for Second and Third trimester -Mat post natal -Combined: Baby Massage & Postnatal Pilates (20mins/40mins) Our combination class offers time for baby, and time for mum too. (babies from 6 weeks - crawling) The first part of the class will focus on connecting you with your baby through the ancient Indian art of infant massage. With attention on a different part of the body each week we'll go over a routine that you'll be able to practise at home. Baby massage is an enjoyable and effective way of helping you to bond with your baby, meet like minded local mums, and it also helps to improve/relieve the following:- * Sleep issues * Digestive problems - including constipation and diarrhoea * Colic * Circulation * Skin rashes * Chest congestion * Emotional distress * Partner/family members bonding with baby The second part of the class will focus on you! With a postnatal class designed to help you rebuild from the inside out, we'll concentrate on pelvic floor and core building exercises, plus we'll add in some strength movements for your major muscle groups too. We'll concentrate on alignment and posture throughout the exercises helping to relieve any tension in your back, and correct any postural issues resulting from pregnancy, birth and the demands of life with a little one. The benefits of Postnatal Pilates include:- * Relief from backache * Relief from pelvic girdle pain * Relief from and improvement of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome * Aid healing of Diastasis Recti * Improve pelvic floor weakness or related injury * Alleviate mental and emotional stress * Increase energy levels * Improve sleep quality * Improve general well being and confidence
