About

Hello, my name is Bethany and I live in Macclesfield. I have two girls, Amélie and Margaux. We also have Bella, our dog in the family.

I run TinyTalk classes in the East Cheshire area.

My signing journey began when I had my first daughter, Amélie. We started going to TinyTalk classes and they became the highlight of my week. I signed at home with Amélie and she was soon able to sign back, she was able to tell me when she needed a drink or if she wanted food, for example.
I was luck to be able to attend classes until pre school. With my second daughter, again we went to TinyTalk classes, due to circumstance we could only stay until she was one but we still signed at home.
As well as learning new signs, we loved singing with action and doing other activities like bubbles.
After classes was the social time, being able to talk to other parents, have a brew and a cheeky biscuit was great, especially as a new mum!
I also love that it help link two languages, French and English, as the girls father is French.
